Thermal Imaging (Infrared Thermography)

Infrared Thermal Imaging is a valuable tool that helps us observe thermal deficiencies and moisture related issues that may not be visible to the naked eye.

A Thermal Imaging camera detects the amount of radiant energy emitted from a surface, and provides an infrared image that is outside of our visual spectrum. From this we can observe thermal patterns which provide indications of moisture, voids in insulation, air leakage, and other conditions that may be present at concealed, or inaccessible areas.

We primarily use Infrared Thermal Imaging to provide an indication of:

  • Moisture infiltration
  • Voids in insulation
  • Cold air infiltration
  • Heating system deficiencies
  • Plumbing system leakage
  • Roof leakage
  • Electrical system issues

We offer thermal imaging as an add on service to home and commercial inspections.

This service is also offered as an independent thermal imaging inspection for clients who wish to increase the energy efficiency of their home, or address any specific concerns.
